Michael Fassbender Fights In New Images From 'Assassin's Creed'

My knowledge of “Assassin’s Creed” pretty much begins and ends with the fact that it’s a popular video game with a guy who wears a hoodie at the center. “A lot of the stuff in the game is Parkour. Blades attached to his wrists. It’s about getting in close to the target, close quarters fighting,” Michael Fassbender explained to EW.

In these new snaps of the Justin Kurzel-directed movie via Empire, neither of Fassbender’s dual characters Aguilar or Callum Lynch are leaping off walls or anything, but the images at least do provide a look at the two settings the film will juggle. No doubt, “Assassin’s Creed” is ambitious, but let’s hope it’s accessible for those of us who haven’t spent hours playing the game.

The film opens on December 21, 2016.
