The tactics of modern warfare are questioned in Gavin Hood’s new film, “Eye in the Sky.” Helen Mirren, Aaron Paul and Alan Rickman star as military intelligence officers left with the task of killing two suicide bombers. The stealth of their drones seems impenetrable, until a young girl’s presence prevents them from firing.
The trailer shows each character questioning the morality of the situation in their own way. It seems that Aaron Paul, the man with his finger on the trigger, is most hesitant to hit his target. But as Helen Mirren reminds him and the viewer, “There is a lot more at stake than you see in this image.”
The film is set for release on March 11, 2016. Check out the trailer above to see if you feel the tension.
