Philipp Karner’s “Like You Mean It” was a major presence on the LGBT film festival circuit this year, and now Breaking Glass has released it on VOD and DVD.
The semi-autobiographical film stars its director Karner as one of two men on a crossroads:
(Karner) is a struggling and disillusioned actor living in Los
Angeles with his boyfriend Jonah (Denver Milord). As life begins to
knock them down, Mark starts to realize he is no longer in love. When he
attempts to reignite their intimacy through sex, drugs, and therapy,
Mark must look at himself with unprecedented courage and honesty. Can
love heal their broken relationship? Or will Mark need to heal himself
before he’s ready to love?
