Shintaro Shimosawa, the producer of “The Grudge” and “The Grudge 2” and TV shows “The Following” and “Intelligence,” has ventured behind the camera to make his directorial debut. The upside is that he has a helluva cast to work with. The downside is that the result is “Misconduct.”
Starring Al Pacino, Anthony Hopkins, Josh Duhamel, Malin Akerman, Alice Eve and Julia Stiles, what starts out looking like a John Grisham-y legal thriller turns into a soap opera style tale of blackmail, deception, and a man accused of a crime he didn’t commit. It looks pretty low grade all around, but hey, if Pacino can score a Golden Globe nomination for “Danny Collins,” anything is possible.
“Misconduct” will arrive in 2016. Watch below.
