In “Mojave,” a suicidal director (Garrett Hedlund) meets a homicidal drifter (Oscar Isaac) in the desert.
The thriller, directed by Oscar-winner William Monahan, also features Mark Wahlberg as a Hollywood producer. In the film, Isaac and Hedlund end up in a dark cat-and-mouse game as Hedlund’s tortured artist is followed back from the desert to a not-so-sunny L.A. The film’s first trailer reveals the escalation of Isaac’s character’s obsession with Hedlund, as he vows to destroy Hedlund’s family and take his life.
“Mojave” is available to DirecTV subscribers December 3 and opens in theaters January 6. Check out the trailer above, courtesy of Entertainment Tonight.
