Watch: Tina Fey and Amy Poehler of 'Sisters' Bring Religious Reformation to 'Broad City'

While “Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens” is hyping up the entire world, Fey and Poehler do a good job at reminding us they can entertain us all, too. Their newest promo for “Sisters” — the duo’s comedy opening against the Disney/Lucasfilm juggernaut this Friday — brings in Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer of “Broad City” to help tout the allure of sisters (and “Sisters”).
In the sketch, “Sisters Helping Sisters,” Fey and Poehler dress as nuns converting the Jewish girls of “Broad City” into Catholics. The teacher/student relationship between the two groups isn’t far off, considering Poehler is in many ways responsible for “Broad City” reaching the masses.
The main focus of the video runs on an unspoken yet very explicit joke involving Rosary beads, but seeing the award-winning women go bead-for-bead with one another in a “Hail Mary” attempt to lure eyeballs away from “Star Wars” is well worth any awkwardness. Be sure to check out the video below and see “Sisters” in theaters this Friday.
