After a couple of unsuccessful attempts at making an edgier and morally “greyer” show, USA has finally hit home with “Mr. Robot.” As a sign of its commitment to the groundbreaking series, the cable channel has given subscribers access to an enhanced viewing experience on the USA website. Every episode of the first season is now available uncensored (with a TV-MA rating), with exclusive commentary from creator Sam Esmail as well as insider info and behind the scenes easter eggs.

The award-winning “Mr. Robot” seems to owe a good deal of its success from really nailing one of the core zeitgeists of today. The official USA synopsis: The show follows Elliot (Rami Malek, “The Pacific”), a young programmer with social anxiety disorder who works as a cyber-security engineer by day and as a vigilante hacker by night. Elliot finds himself at a crossroads when he’s recruited by a mysterious anarchist, who calls himself Mr. Robot (Christian Slater, “The Adderall Diaries”). Compelled by his personal beliefs, Elliot struggles to resist the chance to take down the multinational CEOs he believes run the world into ruin. The series also stars Portia Doubleday (“Her”), Carly Chaikin (“Suburgatory”) and Martin Wallström (“Simple Simon”).
The ultimate “Mr Robot” viewing experience is available now on the USA website through January 21.
