READ MORE: The 8 Essential Movie Performances Of David Bowie
The world is still recovering from the sudden passing of music legend and pop culture icon David Bowie. Since the news broke on Monday, there has been a tidal wave of tributes and memorials for the late Starman. The Paley Center of Media is now the latest to join in on the retrospectives by reviving its screening exhibition, “David Bowie: Sound + Vision.”
Originally presented back in 2002, the five-part “Sound + Vision” series was the first retrospective into Bowie’s eclectic career and long-lasting influence, from Ziggy Stardust onwards. Material includes music videos, rarely-seen performances, outtakes, documentaries and interviews, all culled from around the world along with Bowie’s personal archives.
Screenings will take place over the next few Saturdays (January 16, 23, and 30) and Sundays (17, 24 and 31) at The Paley Center for Media in New York City. Click here for more information.
