Set to make its World Premiere in Berlin next month, Jeff Nichols‘ “Midnight Special” is coming to Texas, just as star Kirsten Dunst said it would. But perhaps the big reveal today is that Pee-Wee Herman will make his grand return with “Pee-Wee’s Big Holiday” for a World Premiere at the fest. It’s been a long gestating return for the character, and this might be the only chance to see the movie on the big screen, since it’s a Netflix release. Meanwhile, Seth Rogen‘s AMC series “Preacher” will debut at the fest, while Athina Rachel Tsangari‘s mischievous festival fave “Chevalier” will stop by.
SXSW runs from March 11-20.
