[Editors Note: Project of the Week is presented in partnership with Blackmagic Design, one of the world’s leading innovators and manufacturers of creative video technology.]
The winning filmmaker will become a candidate for January Project of the Month. That winner will receive a Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve 12 License and will be in the running for Project of the Year.
The three projects up for this week’s Project of the Week are listed below (with descriptions courtesy of the filmmakers). You can vote at the bottom of the page. (As we did not have a Project of the Day on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, there are three possible choices instead of the usual four.)
Lazy Eye: When Dean, a 40-year-old graphic designer, unexpectedly hears from Alex, the ex he hasn’t seen in 15 years, the two meet for a weekend at a house in the desert near Joshua Tree.
The Consequence of Words: On a rare trip to visit her eccentric father, Enni, a quiet and introspective young girl, lets her imagination carry her away with every tale he tells.
Space/Time: When a group of scientists developing an engine for interstellar travel see their funding cut after a breakthrough leads to a fatal disaster, the disgraced group must resort to criminal activity to finance their operation as they rebuild their device.
Voting will end Monday, January 25 at 5 p.m. ET.
