The producing team behind 2012’s wildly successful horror anthology film “V/H/S” is gearing up to release their newest film, “Southbound,” next month.
Through vignette storytelling, “Southbound” presents five separate tales of travelers whose journeys each take an unexpected turn on a desolate stretch of a desert highway. As the official synopsis reads, the stories of these travelers feature “two men on the run from their past, a band on their way to the next gig, a man struggling to get home, a brother in search of his long-lost sister, and a family on vacation, [who] are [all] forced to confront their worst fears and darkest secrets in these interwoven tales of terror and remorse on the open road.”
The film will premiere in theaters February 5 and On Demand starting February 9. Watch the newly released trailer above.
