The 2016 Sundance Film Festival will commence in just two days, and Indiewire has gotten an exclusive look at “Wild.” Directed by Nicolette Krebitz, the German indie will be playing as part of the World Drama competition. Check out the trailer above.

“Wild” tells the story of a young girl whose mundane life is turned upside down after a fateful encounter with a wild wolf at the edge of town. She soon becomes obsessed with the animal, which results in her own sexual reawakening. As she begins to unleash the animal inside of her, the line between nature and modern civilization begins to blur as well, and she finds herself a social pariah, repulsing yet attracting everyone around her.

The film will be having its world premiere at the Sundance, which will take place January 21-31.
