Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Josh Aronson has directed a new film that presents an inside look into the power of teachers and music.
Filmed over seven years, the documentary “Talent Has Hunger” offers a glimpse into the mysterious passion that can hold an artist from childhood into old age. It explores how music compels young musicians to commit to years of discipline, and how it drives great teachers to devote their lives to mentoring these budding artists. The movie specifically focuses on talented students as they study one-on-one with renowned teacher, Paul Katz, and learn to master and hone their skills.
“Talent Has Hunger” opens at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston on March 11.
