We are just over a week away from the premiere of the first “X-Files” episode since 2002, and if you care about this show at all you do not need us telling you to watch this trailer.
The cult hit turned pop culture icon is returning as a six-episode miniseries at the end of the month. Original creator and executive producer Chris Carter writes and directs three of the episodes, with Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny reprising their roles as Scully and Mulder. Whether or not this will be the reboot fans deserve is yet to be seen. What is certain, though, is the return of that sweet, sweet opening theme.
Mulder and Scully return on January 24, immediately following the NFC Championship Game on Fox. Watch the trailer above.
