You can keep Westeros, roll with Saul, and return to the wintry plains of the midwest — for me, my most anticipated show of the year takes place in the suburbs of Los Angeles and focuses on middle class people just trying to keep their shit together. “Togetherness” is back next month, and HBO has unveiled a new trailer that has me hooked already.
The next batch of episodes will follow Brett (Mark Duplass) and Michelle (Melanie Lynskey) as they try to rekindle the spark in their relationship, which has puttered out from the stresses of marriage and children (and Michelle’s attraction to John Ortiz‘s David). Meanwhile, both Brett’s friend, Alex (Steve Zissis), and Michelle’s sister, Tina (Amanda Peet), move in with them, causing the potential for friction to increase.
“Togetherness” returns on February 21st. Watch below.
