[Editors Note: Project of the Day is presented in partnership with Blackmagic Design, one of the world’s leading innovators and manufacturers of creative video technology.]

Here’s your daily dose of an indie film, web series, TV pilot, what-have-you in progress — at the end of the week, you’ll have the chance to vote for your favorite.

In the meantime: Is this a project you’d want to see? Tell us in the comments.

Girl Knight

Logline: A short film about letting your guard down.

Elevator Pitch:
Isabel, an odd teenage girl who clanks around in a knights outfit, learns to let her guard down when she falls for Delilah, a goth princess at school.

Production Team:
Deborah Attoinese – Director, Producer, Writer
Laura Worchell – Executive Producer
Clara Ronk – Co-Producer

About the Film:
All I could see was an edgy teenage girl clanking around in a suit of armor -wanting to be invisible but seen. Then I read the phrase “love needs an entry point” and suddenly Isabel made perfect sense. The film is about first love and the feeling of your heart breaking open like never before. Isabel came first then Delilah. I had no idea where they would lead-and had to find my own sense of courage and say, “Okay. Let’s do this.” I want to create a world that straddles the fine line between leaving one place to arrive at another.

Current Status: We received a Staff Pick on Kickstarter and became fully funded on our re-launch!
