American Documentary Film Festival (AmDocs) has announced that Joe Berlinger’s “Tony Robbins: I Am Not Your Guru,” the new documentary about internationally-renowned life and business strategist Tony Robbins, will be the Opening Night feature for the festival’s fifth edition.

Shot in classic cinema vérité style, “I Am Not Your Guru” finds Berlinger behind the scenes of Robbins’ massive “Date With Destiny” seminar, which is attended by over 2,500 people in Boca Raton, Florida, each year. With unprecedented six-day access to the behind-the-scenes operations of the event, the filmmaker captures both the immense effort that goes into producing the live seminar, as well as the life-changing transformations it has on its participants.
