Being a YouTube celebrity is hard work. Particularly if you’re a prankster. Their fame is contingent on their anonymity, and as their views skyrocket into the tens of millions, that anonymity is harder and harder to maintain. Which is exactly why the viral video YouTubers have decided to descend onto Hollywood and take their bizarre and outlandish antics to the big screen. With over nine million subscribers, Zdorovetskiy hosts the number one prank channel on YouTube, while his buddy and co-star Roman Atwood has over 100 million monthly views — making their film debut long overdue.
Thanks to Lionsgate, the trio will now have the budget, scope, and tenacity to perform some of their most outrageous pranks yet. The film generated some headlines a few years back during the 2014 World Cup Final in Rio De Janeiro, when Zdorovetskiy crashed the match by streaking across the field with the words, “Natural Born Pranksters” written across his chest, bringing the film out of obscurity and into the homes of over 750 million people worldwide.
“Natural Born Pranksters” is set to be theatrically and digitally released on April 1. Check out the trailer above and the poster below.
