How far would you go for your faith?
It’s a simple question hiding immense complexities, including the various answers — and extremes in answers — each person could provide. Perhaps the most relevant example of those extremes came last year when Alex Gibney released his documentary on Scientology, “Going Clear,” examining the terrifying backstory of a “church” that most now see as a cult. There’s a fine line between the two concepts, and “The Path” seems to defining that line for us.
In the above trailer, Aaron Paul (“Breaking Bad”) and Michelle Monaghan (“Gone, Baby, Gone”) play husband and wife to a family of followers; specifically followers of a new belief system run by Hugh Dancy (“Hannibal”) that may or may not be hiding some deep, dark secrets.
