Los Angeles’ own AFI FEST 2016 Presented by Audi has officially announced its dates for the season. As the festival approaches its 30th edition, it will celebrate yet another week-long run in the movie capital of the world from November 10-17.
Along with the announcement of dates, the festival has also officially opened their doors for submissions from filmmakers all all over the world.
Along with a number of premieres, last year’s edition also included appearances and conversations with talent like Ridley Scott, Benecio Del Toro, Michael Caine, Charlotte Rampling, Tom Courtenay, Christian Bale, Rooney Mara, Todd Haynes, Ryan Gosling, Angelina Jolie-Pitt, Brad Pitt, Saoirse Ronan and Sylvester Stallone.

If this year’s edition of the AFI FEST will be anything like its predecessor, this fall should be pretty sweet for SoCal cinephiles. Submissions are now open on the festival’s official website.
