Comic-Con HQ, a live streaming service from Comic-Con International and Lionsgate, will offer access to select convention panels and events (excluding Hall H), as well as scripted and unscripted shows. Free beta access begins May 7 with the official launch in June leading up to this year’s SDCC (July 20-24).
G4 alum Adam Sessler (“X-Play”) will exec produce programs on comics, science and gaming, along with hosting his own interview series. Fellow G4 star Kevin Pereira (“Attack of the Show”) will exec produce a pop culture news show and late night talk show format. There will also be two roundtable discussion shows, one weekly movie talk in partnership with Complex’s Collider, and an all-female panel devoted to fangirl pop culture.
In addition, there will be live-streamed and archived CCHQ programming, airings of select Comic-Con panels, and access to the convention floor and sanctioned events (such as the Masquerade and the Eisner Awards).
