If You've Ever Wondered If 'Walk of Life' is the Perfect Song to End Every Movie, This Site Proves It

Who doesn’t love “Walk of Life”? It doesn’t matter who you are, once those iconic first bars of the classic Dire Straits song kick in, you can’t help but start to feel things. At least, that’s the hypothesis put forward by the good folks over at the Walk of Life Project.

The Walk of Life Project team has just inundated YouTube with a vast collection of the final moments of some of cinema’s finest films (both contemporary and classic), all with their final moments overlaid by that classic tune. Some, like “The Dark Knight Rises” above, work a bit too perfectly. Others, specifically “The Blair Witch Project,” are just down right hilarious. If anything, this just proves that the perfect song can work in any context.
