On the eve of the SXSW Film Festival, Prodigy Public Relations has announced the promotion of its senior publicists Jason Kasperski and Jenny Bloom to the roles of Vice President – Corporate Communications and Vice President – Film Publicity, respectively. Per the announcement, the pair will continue to work closely with Prodigy’s President & CEO Erik Bright, who co-founded Prodigy PR in 2009 with former distribution/publicity executive and Prodigy’s Chief Operating Officer Alex Klenert.
Of the news, Bright commented, “Jenny and Jason have grown into exceptional media strategists so this is a natural step and most-deserved. I am excited to have them join the executive ranks during this growth period, and look forward to working with them as we continue to focus on providing our corporate and film clients with the highest level of service.”
Kasperski, a PR veteran with over a decade of experience, joined the company in 2012, while Bloom arrived in 2013 after co-founding the very popular Stanley Film Festival in Colorado.
Prodigy will be at this year’s SXSW with five new titles, including “And Punching the Clown,” “American Fable,” “Long Nights Short Mornings,” “Johnny Frank Garret’s Last Word” and “Artist & Repertoire.”
