Yesterday, Indiewire premiered 19-year-old filmmaker Luke Jaden’s short film “King Ripple,” and today we’re excited to debut the follow-up short, the ambitious “Wolf Who Cried Boy.” The short film stars Barkhad Abdi (“Captain Phillips”) and Dwight Henry (“Beasts of the Southern Wild”) and was co-written with Cort Johns.
The synopsis reads, “A battle of wills ensues when a streetwise teenager trespasses on a dangerous scrapper’s territory. Two wildly different worlds collide when the crafty Reggie decides to take an ambitious, streetwise Liam under his wing into the cutthroat business of metal scrapping.”
