Watch: Go Back to the Wild West of Tech in Exclusive 'Silicon Cowboys' Clip

Travel back to the early years of Silicon Valley in our exclusive clip for “Silicon Cowboys.” Directed by Academy Award-nominated director Jason Cohen, the film is the documentarian’s first foray in feature-length documentary storytelling. 

“Silicon Cowboys” chronicles the rise and fall of Compaq, a PC company that showed innovation and hard work could make for success, years before Apple or Facebook proved pretty much the same thing to the world in much splashier ways. Started by three friends in 1982, Compaq eventually took on computing giant IBM, a choice that had repercussions across both the company and the industry at large.
