The 20th annual Webby Awards have been announced, with The Onion taking home a Lifetime Achievement award and Jessica Alba being named the Webby Entrepreneur of the year. Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, Instagram’s Eva Chen, Questlove, Internet inventor Vint Cerf and Susan P. Crawford are members of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, which voted on the awards; in addition, more than two-million votes were cast for for the Webby People’s Voice Awards. This year’s awards were rather presidential, with First Lady Michelle Obama taking home two prizes in the Online Film & Video category. The ceremony will take place in New York and be available on demand at webbyawards.com on May 17.
