This week’s episode of Screen Talk is presented by Hulu’s “The Path.”
It’s been a big week for the film industry. In Las Vegas, annual exhibitor conference CinemaCon generated all kinds of headlines, from news of new projects by Warren Beatty and James Cameron to Pixar’s “Finding Dory,” more superhero movies and Amazon’s big moves. But these weren’t the only major developments in movieland. On Wednesday, the Tribeca Film Festival kicked off its 15th edition, and by the next morning, the lineup for the 69th edition of the Cannes Film Festival was revealed. In other words, there’s a lot to discuss, which is exactly what Indiewire’s Eric Kohn and Anne Thompson do in this week’s edition of Screen Talk.
