Exclusive: Poster and Teaser Premiere for Tribeca Selection 'Here Alone'

Now that the Tribeca Film Festival is underway and the controversy surrounding “Vaxxed” has at least temporarily quelled, avail yourself of our exclusive premiere of the poster and teaser for “Here Alone.” World premiering on April 15 in the Midnight section, director Rod Blackhurst’s post-apocalyptic drama follows a woman named Ann (Lucy Walters) as she ekes out a lonely existence in the aftermath of a viral outbreak. The imagery in the teaser is familiar but promising: makeshift surgical masks, harsh wilderness and abandoned homes, the foreboding promise that “those who stay, die.” For all the crossover between indie filmmaking and genre pictures, there have been relatively few excursions into undead territory on the festival circuit. Rounding out the cast are Adam David Thompson, Shane West and Gina Piersanti, who made an impressive debut showing in Eliza Hittman’s Sundance 2013 standout “It Felt Like Love.”
