Sunday night’s “Game of Thrones” premiere raised as many questions about the current state of Westeros as it answered: Jon Snow is really dead, but is he coming back in some form? The Sand Snakes appear to be staging a coup in Dorne, but what’s their endgame? Melisandre isn’t quite the beauty she appears to be, but why are we just seeing her true form now?

Conspicuously absent from “The Red Woman” was Bran Stark, who didn’t make a single appearance last year but has been heavily featured in the advertising for season six. His ability to warg — or enter the mind of other living creatures and control their actions — is presumed by many to play a major role as the show nears its final act. In new photos for this week’s episode “Home,” both Bran and Daenerys Targaryen’s advisor Missandei appear for the first time. They’re joined by Varys, Balon and Yara Greyjoy, Meera Reed, Dolorous Edd and the traitorous Alliser Thorne.
