The MTV Movie Awards celebrated its 25th anniversary last night with a star-studded taping on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, California. The ceremony, hosted by “Central Intelligence” co-stars Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson, will air on MTV tonight at 8pm, but the winners have been officially announced and it looks like it was a big night for blockbusters like “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” “Straight Outta Compton” and this year’s smash hit “Deadpool.”

The show also paid tribute to two of the biggest stars on the planet. Will Smith, who was on hand to show off some new footage from the upcoming DC superhero movie “Suicide Squad,” was awarded the Generation Award, while Melissa McCarthy, currently tearing up the box office charts with her new R-rated comedy “The Boss,” received the Comedic Genius Award, becoming the first woman to do so at the ceremony.
