Next month AMC will premiere the highly-anticipated series “Preacher,” the cult comic adaptation from Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and Sam Catlin. The network debuted two new images from the show featuring Jesse Custer ( Dominic Cooper) with Sheriff Root (W. Earl Brown) and DeBlanc (Anatol Yusef) with Fiore (Derek Wilson).
“Preacher” is based on the comic books written by Garth Ennis and drawn by Steve Dillon, and follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse who seems to be inhabited by supernatural beings. Violence and daunting creatures entail as he and his ex girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga) and an Irish vagabond (Joseph Gilgun) team up to battle demons from Hell, Heaven and everywhere in between.

Additionally, AMC released a new 30-second promo descriptively titled “All Saints” that shows a handful of new scenes involving the shows titular character coming home.
The pilot premiered at SXSW and has received much buzz since. “Preacher” premieres May 22 at 10pm on AMC. Check out the photos below.
