This summer, Variety will host its annual TV summit where industry professionals come together to discuss how best to engage audiences in a rapidly changing media landscape. “Tune In: The TV Summit 2016” features networks, advertisers, showrunners, production companies, and more examining how best to develop successful programming to the diverse, fragmented viewing public. Over the course of one day, participants will hear panel discussions and keynote conversations about the various facets of television production, covering everything from the art of launching a new show to the best strategies to target binge-watchers. Television never stops growing and changing, but Variety’s TV Summit is here to help.
For “Tune In,” Variety has brought a bunch of great guest speakers to share their opinions and experiences at the summit. Some of these people include Academy Award-winning singer-songwriter John Legend, who will keynote the summit; Mindy Kaling, creator, executive producer, and star of “The Mindy Project”; Aaron Sorkin, creator of “The West Wing” and “The Newsroom,” and writer of “The Social Network”; Bill Lawrence, creator of “Scrubs” and “Cougar Town”; actor Harvey Fierstein, best known for his work in “Hairspray”; and Robert Greenblatt, Chairman of NBC Entertainment.
“Tune In” takes place June 14th at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. Tickets for the event are currently on sale here. For a complete look at the day’s agenda and a full list of speakers, follow the link here.
