The first trailer for the Xavier Manrique-directed drama “Chronically Metropolitan” has just been released by Deadline.
The film stars Shiloh Fernandez, as Fenton, a first time novelist who returns unannounced to New York City to reunite with his ex-girlfriend Jessie (Ashley Benson), who is engaged to be married.
During this time he also reconnects with his parents Christopher (Chris Noth), a successful novelist who’s as recognized for his Page Six worthy antics as he is for his writing, and Diane (Mary-Louise Parker), a sophisticated woman, who has a new appreciation of controlled substances and is at a crossroads in her marriage and her life.
Josh Peck also co-stars as Fenton’s best pal, John and Addison Timlin is Fenton’s head strong sister, Layla.
“Chronically Metropolitan” was written by Nick Shutt and will have its world premiere at the Nantucket Film Festival that runs June 22-27.
