‘High Maintenance’ Teaser Trailer: Ben Sinclair Makes His HBO Debut As The Friendly Pot Dealer

The hilarious indie comedy “High Maintenance” is finally arriving to HBO this fall.

Created and written by married duo Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair, the six-episode series follows Sinclair as “The Guy,” a friendly and trustworthy pot dealer whose clients include an eccentric group of characters, revealing the dynamics of their lives. The half-hour comedy will give a glimpse into the daily routines of his customers, from the unexpected and offbeat to the predictable and mundane, and how they light things up.

“High Maintenance” is executive produced by Blichfeld, Sinclair and Russell Gregory.

The show was created as a web series in 2012 and was originally distributed for free on Vimeo from 2012 – 2015. The cannabis-centered show had a total of 19 episodes and received positive reviews from critics. After garnering attention, the web series shifted from distribution platform to distribution platform until finally HBO picked up the next season.
