Steven Soderbergh’s heist film “Logan Lucky” has added two new ladies to its already star-studded ensemble. Hilary Swank joins the cast as an FBI agent and Katherine Waterston in an unknown role.
The feature stars Channing Tatum and Michael Shannon as brothers who plan a robbery during a high-profile NASCAR race in Charlotte, NC. Daniel Craig, Katherine Heigl, Adam Driver, Seth MacFarlane and Riley Keogh round out the talented group of actors. The film will be produced by Mark Johnson, Gregory Jacobs and Reid Carolin.
This week, Soderbergh confirmed that filming for “Logan Lucky” had begun by posting an image on his Twitter account with the news.
Oscar-winner Swank is also starring in Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu’s miniseries, “The One Percent,” for Starz and Billie August’s “55 Steps,” opposite Helena Bonham Carter.
Waterston can be seen this year in the Harry Potter spin-off “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”,” out November 18. She also has a role in Ridley Scott’s “Alien: Covenant.”
