UPDATE: Kit Harington will appear in the upcoming “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.” A day after a mysterious video surfaced of the “Game of Thrones” actor filming a new project, it has been revealed that he will play the villain and the face of the enemy faction, the SDF (Settlement Defense Front).
“Kit is an amazing talent, and the consummate pro,” said Taylor Kurosaki, narrative director, Infinity Ward. “Our story is about an epic showdown of opposing forces, and Kit immersed himself into the role and truly became the embodiment of the enemy, the Settlement Defense Front. We can’t wait for fans to see Kit play an entirely different kind of character.”

PREVIOUS: What is Kit Harrington up to when he’s not filming “Game of Thrones?” The actor seems to have a mysterious new project up his sleeve, that is already sparking rumors of what it could be.
Entertainment Weekly has a video in where Harrington, sans beard, is being wheeled into a cage lined with dozens of cameras. This type of rig is typically used to digitally capture an actor’s likeness for a motion-capture performance. In the video, he doesn’t say anything, just sits in the seat as he’s being pushed from behind.
Mashable is speculating that maybe Kit could be appearing in a video game of some sort, specifically “Call of Duty.” The setup is familiar to the one that ex-NFL player Marshawn Lynch was featured in an ESPN Magazine story when he participated in “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.” With E3 just around the corner, it could possibly be linked to that.
Though, at this moment nothing has been revealed or confirmed about what this project is. However, EW does say that more details will be coming later in the week.
