‘Monster Trucks’ Trailer: Lucas Till Toplines This Crazy-Looking Family Alien Film

After three previous release dates, the film will arrive in theaters on January 13, 2017.

Lucas Till befriends a supernatural creature which he names “Creech” in the new film “Monster Trucks.” With a name like that, many would think that this family flick is about huge-sized trucks, which it kind of is, but it’s more about the monster who lives inside the vehicle.

Till plays a Tripp, a teen who builds a truck from scraps to get away from the small town he grew up in. After an accident at a nearby oil-drilling site, a strange creature is displaced and finds a new home in Tripp’s truck. The unlikely duo soon build a lasting relationship that is at risk when officials try and capture Creech.

“Monster Trucks” is directed by Chris Wedge and is being distributed by Paramount, who previously had announced three release dates. The film also stars Jane Levy as Till’s love interest, Holt McCallany, Barry Pepper, Tucker Albrizzi, Danny Glover, Amy Ryan, Rob Lowe, Frank  Whaley, and Thomas Lennon.

“Monster Trucks” will be released in theaters on January 13, 2017.
