Olivia Wilde is adding another project under her directing umbrella. This week, the “Vinyl” actress revealed that she would be helming the music video for the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ first single, “Dark Necessities,” off their upcoming album.
Wilde posted a handful of photos from the set on her Instagram account, in one she’s shooting drummer Chad Smith, another she’s hiding her pregnancy by laying under a couch pillow and many more. This isn’t the first time the actress has directed a video. In March, she debuted the clip for the band Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros’ single “No Love Like Yours,” which was shot entirely on an iPhone.
