Emmy voting is currently underway, which means networks’ campaigns are starting to make their last big push for nominations. While another campaign going on in the world is serious — and somewhat terrifying — these campaigns have been nothing but absolutely hysterical, exemplified in TBS’s most recent “Angie Tribeca” ‘for you consideration’ video — one that should be nominated itself for best FYC video.

“If you watch only one FYC Emmy video this season, make sure it’s this one,” TBS said. And they have a case.
Rashida Jones highlights the utter importance and authenticity of the show, calling it “dark” and “raw” and saying, “It’s a tough world and if you’re not careful, you could easily lose your humanity.” We see sacrifice and commitment as an undercover Angie poses as a nude model with her wire hidden in a place that should make them throw it out after. We see the stress get to Angie as she barely restrains from hitting a ferret. We see such incredible skill as Angie picks out the smell of cabbage in her captain’s office. How could “Angie Tribeca” not be the most important show there’s ever been and be nominated “a million times”? We don’t know.
