“Certain Women” made its debut at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and was quickly acquired by IFC Films for U.S. distribution. Now, they have released a slew of images for the upcoming drama that features a star-studded cast.

The film follows three women striving to forge their own paths amidst the wide-open plains of the American Northwest. Michelle Williams stars as a new home owner, wife and mother, who is having relationship problems with her husband (James Le Gros). Kristen Stewart portrays a young law student who strikes up a bond with a lonely ranch hand, played by newcomer Lily Gladstone, and Laura Dern is a lawyer who finds herself contending with both office sexism and a hostage situation. Throughout the movie, their stories intersect in powerful ways and shows the characters’ process of defining themselves.

The drama is directed by Kelly Reichardt, who previously worked with Williams on the 2008 film “Wendy and Lucy” and 2010’s “Meek’s Cutoff.”
