“Fear The Walking Dead,” a companion series and prequel to the widely popular zombie series “The Walking Dead,” debuted in August of last year to general acclaim and high ratings. The series follows a dysfunctional makeshift family at the onset of a zombie apocalypse. Struggling to remain alive, the group must band together in order to save each other amidst such a physical threat. The series stars Kim Dickens (“Treme”), Cliff Curtis (“Whale Rider”), Frank Dillane (“Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”), Alycia Debnam-Carey (“The 100”), Elizabeth Rodriguez (“Orange Is the New Black”), Mercedes Mason (“Chuck”), Lorenzo James Henrie, Rubén Blades (“The Counselor”), Colman Domingo (“Selma”), and Michelle Ang (“Underemployed”). “The Walking Dead” TV series is based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. It was first developed by Frank Darabont, who previously directed “The Shawshank Redemption,” “The Green Mile,” and “The Mist.” The series has the highest total viewership of any series in cable history, has won two Emmys, and just finished up its acclaimed sixth season. It will return for a seventh season in October.
