‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7: Does New Clip Reveal That Negan Killed [Spoiler]?

Is this the end of the beloved character?

The Walking Dead Season 7

At the end of Season 6 of “The Walking Dead,” Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) was seen with his barbed wire-wrapped baseball bat “Lucille” ready to kill the Survivors, Daryl Dixon, Rick, Carl, Michonne, Glenn, Maggie, Abraham, Sasha, Aaron, Rosita and Eugene, all of whom were kneeling in his lineup.

In a new clip shared by AMC, Dwight (Austin Ameliio), one of Negan’s lackeys and Dixon’s (Norman Reedus) rivals, is seen riding up on a desolate highway on Daryl’s motorcycle and wearing his iconic vest. The scene will shock fans and have people thinking; could Dixon’s time on “The Walking Dead” be coming to an end? That’s what the new special sneak peek at Season 7 makes it seem like.

“TWD” has always been secretive about whose fate will end on the show and so far, Reedus has made no comment about the clip. Though, the video does hint that he could be the one who the new villain killed.

It had been previously stated by the show’s EPs and the stars that the person who Negan kills will be revealed in the Season 7 debut. Showrunner Scott M. Gimple also had a message during “TWD” special about what to expect.

“You know the beginning, and it’s almost here, so enjoy your summer because the beginning is someone’s end,” Gimple stated. “But it is a beginning. What happens in episode one will shatter the lives of those who survive and will rend the narrative into different trajectories in which we will see our characters in completely new situations, torn from the pages of the comic and remixed in ‘The Walking Dead’ remixinator 5000.”
