Despite making nearly $900 million worldwide, this spring’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” was considered a disappointment by many. YouTube user stryder HD may be among those left wanting more by the film, as he’s gone to the effort of cutting a trailer for his own version of the film starring previous iteration of the eponymous superheroes: Michael Keaton as Batman, Christopher Reeve as Superman. Watch his work below.
The fan-made trailer is impressively seamless, weaving together footage from seven different movies to present an alternate vision of the two caped heroes’ confrontation — much of it synced to audio from the actual “Batman v Superman” trailer. As in that film, the two foes eventually team up against Lex Luthor (Gene Hackman); Wonder Woman (Linda Carter) can be seen as well.

Ben Affleck, who appears as the caped crusader in both “Batman v Superman” and (much more briefly) “Suicide Squad,” will direct and star in “The Batman.”
