Billy Eichner has successfully capitalized on his “Billy on the Street” fame in recent years with appearances in films like “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising” and a leading role in Hulu’s “Difficult People.” He’ll soon return to his old tricks in the fifth season of his unique game show, which will feature appearances by Aziz Ansari, Jon Hamm and Keegan-Michael Key, among others. Donald Trump comes up frequently in the 90-second spot: Eichner asks one woman to name a racist for $1; Trump is her immediate response. Another woman asked to name a liar for the same prize likewise names the businessman-turned-presidential candidate. Categories for Eichner’s rapid-fire question-and-answer rounds include “Chris Hemsworth or Someone Who Had to Try, “Believes in Ghosts or Can’t Eat Toast” and “Jabba the Hut or Just Some Gay Guy?”
Lupita Nyong’o, John Oliver, Seth Rogen, Andy Samberg and Jacob Tremblay (whom Eichner introduces as Jodie Foster, much to Tremblay’s amusement) are also slated to appear. Season five of “Billy on the Street” begins November 15 on truTV.
