The CW’s romantic musical comedy “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” scored big with critics and awards during its first season. The series’ co-creator and star Rachel Bloom won the Best Actress award at the Golden Globes and the Critics’ Choice Awards. “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” has also been nominated for four Emmys this year. But “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” is heading back to television soon enough, and we have our first teaser trailer to prove it. Check it out below.
The series follows Rebecca Bunch (Bloom), a high-profile lawyer who bumps into her first love Josh (Vincent Rodriguez III) on the streets of New York just after she’s offered a partnership at her law firm. Josh informs her that he’s moving back to West Covina, California, and on a whim, Rebecca decides to quit her job and follow him in search of happiness. Each episode contains two or three original musical numbers usually sung by Rebecca or a character she’s interacting with. The first volume of the soundtrack of season one was released this past February.
