And now the news we’ve all been waiting for: “Fuller House” season two has an official return date. It’s been a long seven months since Netflix released the nostalgia overload that was the show’s first season, especially since we all binged all 13 episodes that first weekend (right?), but we only have to wait a few more: December 9 marks the show’s return.
There’s been no indication that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will join their former castmates — quite the opposite, in fact — but the ensemble remains otherwise intact. Though Netflix is famously tight-lipped about the number of viewers who tune into its shows and movies, Symphony Advanced Media reports that the first season of “Fuller House” received an average of 14.4 million viewers in the 18-49 demographic, a surprisingly high number. (Critical reception wasn’t as enthusiastic.)
The show’s second season will likewise consist of 13 episodes, all of which will be available on December 9. Until then, sate yourself with this new poster.
