‘Haters Back Off’ Teaser Trailer: Miranda Sings is Ready For Her Close Up in Netflix Series

The world is not ready for such talent.

Haters Back Off

The wait is almost over for fans of Colleen Ballinger’s oddball alter ego Miranda Sings and her new series “Haters Back Off.” To get you ready for the Internet sensation’s new show, Netflix released a teaser trailer that you can check out below.

The eight-episode series centers around the oddball family life of Miranda Sings, an incredibly confident, totally untalented star on the rise who continues to fail upward by the power of her belief that she was born famous – it’s just no one knows it yet. The comedy also co-stars Steve Little (“Eastbound & Down”) as Miranda’s Uncle Jim, Angela Kinsey (“The Office”) as Miranda’s mom, Bethany, and Erik Stocklin, as Miranda’s best friend, Patrick.

With more than 6.9 million subscribers on YouTube, Colleen has made a living portraying “singer” Miranda Sings on the internet site. Now making her way to television, “Haters Back Off,” (the title stems from her signature catchphrase,) marks the first time Netflix has developed a series starring a digital creator.

The show is executive produced by Ballinger, Christopher Ballinger, Perry Rein, Gigi McCreery, Jeff Kwatinetz and Josh Barry.

“Haters Back Off” will premiere globally October 14 on Netflix. Check out the teaser below.
