dick clark productions and Tubefilter announced today that the 6th Annual Streamy Awards, which honor the best in online video and the creators behind it, will be hosted by television and online multi-hyphenate King Bach. The finalists for the Audience Choice Awards, “Entertainer of the Year” and “Show of the Year” were also announced today. The annual awards show takes place on Tuesday, October 4th at 9pm ET from The Beverly Hilton.

Andrew Bachelor, better known by his online personality “King Bach,” is a Canadian-born American actor, comedian, director, producer, and writer. A Guinness Book World Record-holder for the most followed account on Vine, King Bach has more than 15 million subscribers and 5 billion views on the platform and won the inaugural “Viner” award at last year’s Streamys. In addition to his own production company, Bach Enterprises, Bach has had recurring roles on numerous television shows, including “House of Lies,” “The Mindy Project,” “Black Jesus,” “Punk’d,” and “Resident Advisors.” He will next be seen starring in the upcoming independent films “Where’s the Money” and “When We First Met.”

Presenters for the 6th Annual Streamy Awards include Gabriel Conte, Philip DeFranco, Brittany Furlan, Gigi Gorgeous, Joey Graceffa, Grace Helbig, Jenna Marbles, Tyler Oakley, Lele Pons, Rhett & Link, Lilly Singh, Superfruit, The Try Guys, What’s Up Moms, and more to be announced.
Starting today, fans can vote online for “Entertainer of the Year” and “Show of the Year” until 11:59am PT on October 4th. Fans can cast their vote at the Streamys official website and/or on Twitter by including the nominee’s name, any form of the word “vote” (ex: vote, voting, voted) and #streamys in their Tweets. (An example of a valid Twitter vote would be: I am voting for (NAME) for #streamys Entertainer of the Year.) Fans can vote up to 100 times per day on both streamys.org and Twitter. The winners of both categories will be announced at the live show.
