NBC’s new time-travel drama “Timeless” is in good hands.

Eric Kripke (“Revolution,” “Supernatural”) and Shawn Ryan (“The Shield”), successful showrunners in their own right, have teamed together to produce the new series, which launches on Monday in the plum 10 p.m. timeslot behind “The Voice.”

Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter and Malcolm Barrett play the history professor, soldier and scientist who are tasked to go back in time in order to chase a fugitive (Goran Visnjic) bent on changing history. For this edition of IndieWire’s “Turn It On,” we sat down with Kripke and Ryan to learn more about their powerful partnership, and the rules of the show.
