Fans of the hit series “The Affair” were left with a major cliffhanger at the end of Season 2 when Noah (Dominic West) confessed killing Scott (Colin Donnell), a crime viewers know he didn’t commit. Now after waiting almost a year for the series’ return, Showtime has released the first teaser trailer and poster for Season 3.
The third season picks up three years after Noah admitted being responsible for Scott’s death. As he attempts to restart his life, he finds that it’s harder than he imagined. But thanks to his new love interest Juliette Le Gall, portrayed by Irène Jacob, she helps him process the trauma from his past and understand himself a little better.
As for the other characters, Alison’s (Ruth Wilson) been raising her daughter Joanie alongside Cole (Joshua Jackson) and Luisa (Catalina Sandino Moreno) in Montauk, but the couple want to rebuild their own future without Alison involved. Helen’s (Maura Tierney) life appears to continue on, but while all seems well, she’s consumed with uncertainty with her boyfriend, instability with her kids and feelings of guilt. Jennifer Esposito and Brendan Fraser are set to guest star in the upcoming episodes.
Season 3 of “The Affair” premieres on Sunday, November 20 at 10pm on Showtime.
